Could someone inform me to as what the kettle(tea pot)icon in jiminy-billy-bob's Layers Panel does? I've been unsuccessful in trying to figure it out.

Kettle on means that layer will be rendered.

        Kettle off means the oposite.

Choose the render engine of your choice (from the available ones) and hit render.

Layers that are off but with kettle on are still rendered, layers that are on but with kettle off will not be rendered.

At least I think so... I use Thea, and it is not supported. I also use KT, but haven't tried yet.

If you want my opinion: It's a hell of a feature!
