You can dial at the basis station and use one of the three inear plugs to make your phonecall...

I was thinking about something alone these lines today. So many of the new phones are going for bigger screens which makes it a bit silly holding it to your ear. The Galaxy note for example it practically a tablet. Often paired with a BT headset to make calls easier, but it's yet another bit of tech to keep charged, have nearby, etc
So why not a small earpiece like this that fits into and is charged by the phone itself that you pull out from its storage slot, much like they have now with the stylus, and stuff in your ear as needed.
I had something similar some years back with a BT rear vision mirror speaker phone. It had a very neat earpiece that you could pop out and use if you wanted to be private. Just looked it up so here's a pic.
Oh, by the way, love the idea and the render.

Yeah phone's used to be fashionably small. I love small phones. Remember the old Nokia 8210? Now they're becoming bricks with huge screens. I understand the smartphone revolution and need for a bigger screen, but would be nice to see equivalent mini phones again.
I still believe this is one of the best looking and most practical phones around. Plus it was TINY!!

agreed!
that and lack of style too... nowadays its all about the bigger screen, cause the phone isnt made for phone calls anymore, but for games and internet
my choice? i use a simple non-smart phone for calls and a tablet for the restthe best one i had, was this one, though.. super-light, super-thin, i had battery for a week and i droped it like a 1000 times, and the thing never broke
