Plugin to make tiles

Hi! Is there a plugin that make tile?
Example: I select a face, tile width/height and divider dimensions, then it creates a tile surface, to use at floors or wherever i want.

Not that I can think of but one would be great, I'd go further and have it tile from the center of the area like real tiling and in the case of tiled pathways it could also define borders.
