There are indeed huge language differences which produce such misunderstandings.
I'm very happy that the Chinese SketchUp community (subar forums) seem to have a team of translators that make our plugins accessible to more people (I would not be able to translate my plugins to Chinese). -

What a pity.

I tought China just wanted to reduce the surplus of the trade balance with Europe.
The trade surplus (difference between export and import) was about 141 billion Euros in 2012.
I would appreciate it if the chinese people could reduce 0,00001% of the excedent by spending some ....
... No, I was just jokingI will correct my message: They USE our plugins in China !

I am sublog webmaster, you know language issue is a very big problem, most of the Chinese users are reluctant to access non-Chinese websites. Sublog was born in 2008, it is a bridge to introduce sketchup plugins to the Chinese users, and each plug-in has the author's name and the original link. I did not sell these plug-ins. If you want, I can help you sell in China.

That is not very fair play!

edit
they are now fair play!

sublog is not sell any plugins๏ผbut another site is selling...
as a chinese , I'm so shamed....

Excellent idea.

What about the other direction:
Are there interesting plugins, not published on Sketchucation or Smustard....

Tell us more about sublog.... (I prefere SUblog, otherwise it could be sub-log)@arc said:

Chine is potentially a huge market. But it seems impenetrable.
Why not ...... later.

Although China has opened up, but the problem is still a very difficult thing, not just the language. The chinese government has blocked a lot of excellent sites, like twitter, youtube, facebook...even Google's web services are often disrupted. I was an architect๏ผmy hobby is collecting plugins, I think SketchUp + plugins really become powerful. So I created SUBLOG to introduce excellent plugins to chinese user. This year I quit my last job, now I work for Titest company who is the best partner of Trimble in China. And I am channel manager for sketchup business. So I think I can help you to sell your product to China market.
