Great Images! very clean and clear. How are you finding the proxy feature? I've been looking at the new version and can't decide to upgrade or not.
Obviously you've used a proxy for the grass, it seems to need a little tweaking.

The new version of Vray is awesome other than making most plugins crash when its enabled. The proxy feature lets you put almost unlimited high poly (I tried multiplying car models to the horizon and it worked) You can use more than 20 3D trees (the limit in old Vray)
The grass was a last minute addition I think i have it worked out better now.

Thanks for the reply. "making most plugins crash"
Just mentioned to the wife that I was thinking of upgrading V-ray...her reaction was well out of the park IMO, that plate just missed me!
Never mind, just wait until she wants a new washing machine! Bitch

Yeah Round Corner, Weld, Purge, Curve Maker, Curviloft all crash instantly or as soon as the process is over. If you disable the Vray Extension they work perfect. Its a workaround but I hope they fix it soon.

i have VRay 2.0 and also Round Corner and Curviloft, and they all work well together
yes, VRay enabled, working with both plugins: no crashes, all fine
rendering stuff i used both plugins on, rendering it with VRay: no crashes, no problemsmaybe something else is causing those crashes for you...

Are you on Sketchup Pro 2013?
It works perfectly on Sketchup Pro 8 but once you save a file in Sketchup 2013 you can never go back. So many huge models stuck in 2013 so I was losing my mind trying to model in 2013 without Plugins. Finally figured out the disable Vray workaround. Thank god!

yup...
Sketchup 2013 + VRay 2.0 + Round Corner + Curviloft and many other plugins...
all working well...i dont think your issue is caused by VRay alone, since you are the first one i see with that problem
but try the VRay Tools plugin (if you dont have it already...), it allows you to enable VRay only when you want to use it...btw, i forgot to say, great renders!
