[UPDATED] My LayOut Scrapbook for Architectural Drawings.
-
you should add the fonts too... dosen't work without the font file
-
I should... However they are found in many places around the internet and I don't have the rights to distribute them.
What I will do is make a list of all of them and maybe even a list of websites.
-
Edited main post... added Font names.
-
Thank you so much...
-
My pleasure.
-
Just found this. It's really great. Very much appreciated.
-
Happy to help out... They are still a bit large for 1/4" scale. I end up shrinking most of them. I wish I could scale text in Layout.

I clicked on the download link but am only getting Electrical Lights and Switches Symbols. Do you know how I can download the other scrapbooks?
Thank you kindly!

ChristineWhat version are you using? I downloaded and it seem to be the right file. Are you clicking on the other pages?
-
Much appreciated! Had to do a quick electrical plan, so did a search to see if anyone else had electrical symbols rather than starting from scratch.
I did have a brain fart, downloaded both files, and then wondered why only the one worked...
I do wish that scrapbooks were easier to edit. Haven't upgraded to SU2013 yet - have they improved things there at all?
-
No... Not on editing scrapbooks. But there have been some other nice upgrades. like more detailed zooming, Speed and stability. Oh and hatch fills.

Thank You

Hi! Interior design student here. Mostly work in Revit, but recently started to learn Sketchup through video tutorials for the past week. I been searching different resources to built up my design library (material, texture, etc)
So thank you for the scrapbook resource! Will definitely be useful for my future projects.
-
No problem Simon, welcome to the forum. Let us know if there is anything we can help with.
-
Thanks, what are some good tutorials for learning sketchup to do interior design projects?
Mostly construction and presentation documents (floorplan, elevations, etc)
It definitely seem easier to do them on revit, but I am not certain.
So far I'm finished watching "Sketchup 8 Essentials" on lynda.com
Planning to watch some rendering tutorials next maybe, but then again there is a bunch of different programs. My main concern for my projects though is finding the components I want.
