Now that Sketchup has several plugin Rendering applications, I was wondering if anyone had created a macro that would convert the Material parameters of one application to one. I often see content that has had rendering parameters assigned for a specific renderer but it would be nice to use those parameters in another rendering application...

      TIA!

Do you mean like converting Vray materials to say Thea?

Exactly or vice versa... Podium<->Twilight<->Vray<->Thea etc. It would also be nice if Trimble added some basic specular and bump parameters which all renderers would tie into.

I think that the only feasible ways it to have some core support for basic surface features (color/texture): diffuse, reflectance, roughness, bump/normal by Trimble. Those would help a lot with the SU native OpenGL renderer.
