Wudworx Toolbar quick fix for SU2013 build 13.0.3689
-
Guys/Gals,
If your running the 'first' release of SketchUp 2013 and do not see the Wudworx toolbar anymore after copying over their plugin -- read on:
Note: This seems to be happening with the Windows OS and seems to be a glitch with SU build 13.0.3689. to resolve this, you have two options: Update to the latest build (13.0.4124) or perform the following simple fix:
Quit SketchUp if running Move SketchUp 2013 \plugins\wudworx\wwxtool.rbs to your desktop (temporarily) Start SketchUp. SketchUp will complain that it cannot load the Wudworx plugins - that is expected and is OK. click "ok" Quit SketchUp Move wwxtool.rbs from your Desktop back to SketchUp 2013 \plugins\wudworx Start SketchUp. Wudworx Toolbar should be now available for use.
The procedure worked perfectly with SU2013 13.0.3689 running under Win 7 64-bit .
Enjoy

Bob, did you update your SketchUp installation to the current maintenance release? The issue you are referring to isn't specific to the Wudworx toolset and was caused by an issue in the first release of SketchUp 2013. They fixed that problem with the maintenance release.

Yes Siree...all done and now...the fun begins.

I have the latest release of Sketchup. I am new to SU and found this plugin WWX BoardMaker.
I have installed it, but I cannot seem to get it to work. Any ideas? No error messages on loading SU.

How did you install the plugin? Do you have full administrative privileges to the Plugins folder?
-
I extracted all the files to the plugins subdirectory with "Use Folder Names" option selected.

working a little more on it I am getting this error in the console when trying to invoke BoardMaker:
Error: #<NoMethodError: undefined method

How about posting a screen shot of the Plugins directory showing the files? And did you have full administrative privileges before installing?

What about my question about administrative permissions? What version of windows are you using? Could you show the contents of the Wudworx folder.
This going back and forth on the forum is kind of awkward. Maybe we should do this differently. If you want, drop me a PM with your e-mail address.
