I doodled this up today. It is inspired by a table by Robert Sukrachand who kindly granted me permission to use it in a blog post which I have yet to write.

Nice picture and piece Dave. Are you going to blog on how to model it? It doesn't look like a flat top. Is it?

Thank you, Peter. I am planning to do a blog post on it. I need to record the video first.

You're right. The top isn't flat. Neither is the top on the piece that this is based on. Maybe it's more sculptural. I suppose you could put your book or magazine on it.

            Hi Dave,
            interesting design. I like it.
I'm interested to follow how you build it in SU.
            Thanks

              Hi Jean-Franco,

It is an interesting design. Mr. Sukrachand has done a number of interesting pieces. A demonstration of my rendition is posted now. πŸ˜‰

                Dave,
Interesting piece. Reminds me of the Gerrit Reitveld zig-zag chair, which is basically bolted together at the front, but I have a feeling you aren't using many bolts in this table. What's the joinery? Splined miters? Mitered hidden dovetails? Inquiring minds want to know.
                Best,
                dh

David, I have no idea how Robert joined the pieces. Maybe he used epoxy.
