      A little morning practice.

Based on a table I saw on a used furniture site. The original was made in the early 50s.

        Cool.
What does the stretcher on the bottom connect to?

The stretchers are connected to the legs with tenons (I'd use loose tenons, I think) and a few screws into the bottom of the case.
