Groove lines, horizontal and vertical

Hi, are there any plugin to make groove lines, horizontal and vertical at the same time?
I need to make a grid on a face, (separated by a joint with 5mm depth)then drop different materials on every rectangle.

Hi!
Maybe not groove lines, but my plugin can give you a cross grid of edges with custom spacing fitted to face. Maybe 2 of thoose and explode onto face?
