SketchUcation Winter School possibility! [DATE SET]

I have mooted the idea of a SketchUp Winter School here in Europe on a number of occasions to no avail over the past few years but am now getting very serious about one in light of the emails that I have received from EU based SketchUp users. It looks that it won't be a SketchUp Winter School, but a SketchUcation Winter School!
I am now in talks with parties that are experienced in this area and from what I have learned so far a SketchUcation Winter School could well be one the cards, all be it a joint event with another 3D app support group. Date wise we are looking at Jan / Feb 2014 and it will be a one week low cost, fun filled, skiing / SketchUp and other software training event for approx.. 100 attendees, 30-40 SketchUp users.
I don't want to discuss this on the open forums with folks simply because its early days. I will however enter into discussions with serious folks that would attend and disclose full information in a private forum here on SketchUcation which can be set up once I have some interested folks.
The cost for the full week, half board (accomodation, breakfast and dinner) will be in the region of €600. The destination can be reached via RyanAir and other low cost airlines. Extras would be ski equipment hire and of course some beer money. If you have never skied before, I envy you as you will experience the eureka moment! Even those with leg problems will enjoy the sledging ...... I could well be spending some time in that group

Hi All,
I thought I'd give an update on progress. The topic will remain closed as anytime in the past that we moved along these lines the idea got diluted and side-tracked.
Down to business! We have now entered into talks with a 3D company (not SketchUp) that operate very successful Summer and Winter schools in the UK and Austria They are willing to help us make a SketchUcation Winter School a success in Austria. The current idea is for our partners host a week's Winter School and then SketchUcation follow thought with a further week. Many of their members will be interested in staying a second week to learn about SketchUp. This should help fill any room we don't take up in the hotel.
The event will be capable of handling 50ish attendees, a nice size group! I will be passing more information along as further details materialize. I have also been fortunate that one on our Top SketchUators, Olishea has offered his help also. Oli is also a keen skier so the right man for the job!
