How do you make those thatch roofs look so fantastic?
-
What have they got on draught John ? I'll get the next round, especially if the landlord's daughter is working behind the bar. Good job mate.

I should lower mine to "Below amature"

Thank you everyone.
Kriss, the thatch is easier than you think. It's a case of getting the roof as close as you can in SU especially the ridge. then in post it's all down to the clone stamp, burn and dodge. Look close and you can see the mistakes!
Simon I heard she's a bulldog.
Nick, you can call her anything you like, forgot the bloody sign! Now that's a big Doh moment
Usen, I use v-ray.

Oh! Now I feel like a pr**k for asking. Lets just say not naming your art is a sign of modesty and greatness.
-
Peter, this is a model of an actual pub downloaded from the internet. If I want a cottage for example, that's what I search for but being lazy I always skip naming the pic and it saves as a "numbered" file. Sometimes I will model one part of one building with another from a different property.
If I was to design a building it's anyones guess how it would turn out or if it would stand.

It's the unbelievable quality of your work that tells me to just stick to my cars.
A million dollars if you'll teach me your methods (in small monthly payments, of course )
