It was over £2000 with two GC's so have removed one and its down to £1600.

Stock Nvidia cards get pretty hot so was worried about running two: http://techreport.com/r.x/geforce-gtx-670/card-3q.jpg.

Even further down the line when I have some money I will invert in a pro Graphics card rather than using a gaming card but thats at least 12 months away!

Why 4x4GB and not 2x8GB? Because of the 2400MHz? No chance for an upgrade to 32GB...

last minute flutter got the 690 card rathe than the 670 and upgraded the motherboard to future proof me for the next million years.
