I don't really know what to call this space.. but let's say a promenade. It connects a site with a variety of stores, a hotel that spans multiple buildings, a farmer's market, a proposed beer garden, and a new restaurant.

I was waiting to post this until the design evolved some more, but it seems like there's a very good chance its going to get stripped down a bit so may as well post it now. It was a fun project to knock out.. would have been alot more fun if the site was flat! haha..

These were done in a relatively quick time..thankfully I had many of the buildings modelled from previous projects...but the design was changing right down to a couple of hours before the meeting.... and I was stuck with grainy images as a result, but I tried to capitalize on it. These are SketchUp/Twilight/Pshop..

Nice. A sort of mini village public space.

Nice work mate! I've got to say it again mate, I know I do everytime I get worried about saying it! Verticals!

Have you tried to keep the verticals and use a shift lens for the elevation?

yes yes yes.. I know! I'll be updating these next week, I think. I'll hopefully have time to adjust the verticals. I typically do it in post..either with Photoshop lens shift or the simple program ShiftN...

I don't think I ever posted the updates we did for the hotel that is the anchor of this project, but that portion is done so figured I'd post the photos, along with a render of the front.
