A Gentle Ocean Swell .. and Whales!

Hi Folks, I haven’t be around for awhile (self imposed exile), but I wanted to post this picket fence and arbor design for my old Sup friends to see!
Not my grandest project but sure was a lot of fun, and one of my most unique yet, using SketchUp to design an ocean swell and whales
This is located a few blocks from San Diego Harbor hence the nautical theme.

Ahoy! These be Grey Whales matey! (actually sperm whales painted grey
I created the whales in SUp, then exported a dxf and had my CNC shop guy cut me two templates (one of the whale's body, one for the whale tail outline) then cut them using a router. I glued up two pieces of vertical grain western red cedar to make nice stable rafter blanks.
