I also like the subtle post-production: that's visible but still very classy and straightforward.
Can you share a little small tut about the video you also made? πŸ˜›

Thank You, but there is no post-production πŸ˜‰
I have used three light layers for the render and saved the image directly from Indigo Renderer.

The mentioned video can be found here and I used 5 images for it:

        • 1 line version with sketchy lines (one out of the SketchUp standard stiles)
        • 1 pencil style version (http://www.fotosketcher.com)
        • 3 light layer images (mirror light, light emitting area, environment light)
          5layer_video.jpg

I have added up to 50 intermediate images (Photoshop animation window) for a smooth transition between each of them and combined all of them with virtualdub.

I will try to render a sperical panorama from the setup, this will make it clearer...

Nice image! It seems that the bump no the flor material is inverted. I got the feelings that the mortars are higher than the tiles.

Yes, you are right, its now a "special feature" (because I noticed it too late πŸ˜‰ ).

Another version with a different environment (and a little bit NPR)...

I was wondering where is coming from this light, delicate, reddish glow on the vase in the second plane, which a I like actually. I thought - wow, the guy is making a bathroom rendering and he even thought about making a light effects from the fire place in a room that isn't even visible!:D Panorama made it clear - I'd love to have such a bathroom by the way πŸ˜„. Nice work! I'll have to give Indigo a try - I only used it once a long ago. How long did it take to render panorama? I know it depends on gear, but I'm curious anyway. Again - nice job!

I don't remember exactly, I think 1-2 hours. I rendered six cube-faces and stitched them with hugin.

OK, thanx - I've never played with panorama, but this way it sounds like something to try!

Here is the third version of the bathroom. It seems to be a little bit boring, do you have any ideas to make it more exiting? Any comment is highly appreciated ...

Maybe Scarlett Johansson brushing her teeth just in a towel? It might make it more exciting maybe... 🀣 Ok, sorry for that, couldn't hold back myself πŸ˜„.

And seriously - I think, that the lighting on the first picture was a little better. And reflection in the mirror - this is the first thing that I saw - there is no reflection, so it looks a bit strange.
