OMG Trimble SketchUp?
Now they want to earn quick money, and sold Google Sketchup?
Guess I have to pull my self together and accept it...
[edit] Luckily it stills says Google Sketchup 8 when installing... (Its all in the name)

If you search for "Trimble" on this forum you see quite a few thread on the topic.
I think it's a new beginning. Google did a big thing for SketchUp in promoting it - but very little to develop it other than for it's own services. Under Trimble the SketchUp team has emerged and been more active with its community and the indications are that development will kick off again. They're even hiring.

I mean - I got worried as well when I heard it - but after thinking of it, of the development phase and focus before vs under Google ... Google wasn't all that.
