Let the games (Olympic) begin!

Just watching Paul McCartney signing Hey Jude in the finale of the opening in the London Olympic Park on TV. Its definitely the most impressive opening ceremony I've seen to date and very enjoyable. I was very impressed the the Queen's parachute jump from her chopper and Mr Bean's one finger piano playing also.
It will be a great few weeks sport and entertainment.

What a well executed performance. The scene with the smokestacks, and forging the steel rings was monumental. Really enjoyed it.

Liked the "Funny and glorious" part and the lighting of the cauldron was also very well done.

Yes, it was very well done. Rowan Atkinson's skit was funny, and the Queen's, too. Also, one of the fastest parade of nations I've seen at an opening ceremony.
