UEFA-EURO 2012

Huff, sorry Rzeczpospolita, seems to me that Russians go home. Well done Greece!

However if Germany wins tomorrow you will play them next.
Funny, I thought we play with them today.
Oh may, this is the UEFA-euro thread. Apologies.

That's a whole other ball game, a more serious one, with no winners I'm afraid. Good luck today, I do not know enough to even offer an insight, I do know a vote for the left is one that could see y'all exit the Euro and a vote for the right means austerity....sounds like a rock and a hard place.

Looks like Ronaldo is in form! When he is, he can rip good teams apart! I'd say Portugal's odds have gone up quite a bit!
-
@pete
We lost the first one.
Maybe football is more forgiving.
I don't think so. -
Today was drama...
Spain scored an off side goal, played crap and committed a foul that should have been a penalty for Croatia. Italy beat Ireland (so surprise)
So Greece will play Germany on Friday, England play Ukraine tomorrow and France play Sweden, wonder what surprises are to come.
Would LOVE to see England progress to face Spain, I believe they may just be good enough to beat them.

yeah he has finished his suspension and Walcott is back too. Will be interesting at least. What time is it on for you in Texas when the game is on, early morning?

Spain's goal wasn't offside, he was in-line from Fabregas' pass and Navas was level for the cut back. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed last night's match and thought Croatia were mightily unlucky, the writing seemed to be on the wall though when their player missed that header - it was a golden opportunity.

I would love to see England go through too (they play Spain if they finish 2nd) but I honestly believe we would get comprehensively beaten if/when we play them. Don't get me wrong, I don't think we'd get hammered like the Irish but I dont think the team could cope with the Spanish style.

Indeed, looks a fab pub!

Ah well,
If the football fails to excite, there is always 'Velvet Lovebox' at the Londoner on the 29th. -
Wow, so England win the group and now face Italy on Sunday evening.
That Ukraine goal was definitely over the line but the fella was offside when he collected the initial ball.
No football tomorrow night now, gutted!
-
I cannot believe France got beaten by Sweden.
Oh well looks like England dodged Spain, but face Italy which is NOT gonna be easy.
-
Good to see England getting through.
-
Portugal is first team through to semis, I believe Germany should beat Greece tomorrow (then again who knows what can happen) Then there is Spain and France which I cannot see Spain faltering, however England vs Italy is a very hard one to call.
