PDF Layers not showing up in Illustrator. I have a topo and site plan in PDF format and the pdf has layers that have the topo data that I need. I'm trying to export dwg format topo lines from it through illustrator. by default the pdf does not show these layers. when I open the pdf in Illustrator I can't find the layers I need to show...

      any clues on this?

ok... I found it... you have to select the layers in the pdf while in Adobe acrobat and then right click on the layers and go to properties and lock them and have the show on export.
