Works fine!
I am waiting his authorization for post it here !

Doesn't seem too "complicated" with that webdialog, when all input data could be inset in VCB? And the direction could be set with a mouse click.
Indeed, is fancy that way...but is it really necessary ?
Just a thought, thanks. -
excellent idea, pilou,
is possible to test this plugin?thank you very much

When you have 100 clicks to make with the normal tool yes this can be some useful
-
Thank you very much.
just some suggestions. Both the funsion does not work.
There is an error in the offset circles or polygons.
When I select one line, the tool does not work. It only works with faces.and an order.
It is possible that the offset is also a curve. now exploits the geometry?
You can add the option to create faces?thank you very much

I'm not talking about the tool, that's more than amazing! I always dreamed to a tool like that... but a webdialog just seemed too much in my head.

Yes, the plugin only works with faces. trying to sort out the order and directions of an endless number of line segments was just not worth the effort when Sketchup solves that problem with a face. The plugin erases the original and all faces created with the offset process.
This plugin was quick and dirty exercise and has had limited testing and may not be able to work with every shape and offset you may come up with so 'keep it real'. When I have had a chance to throughly test and check it out, I will post it. As for now, please consider this a work in progress.

Hi,
Just to say there's a typo in 'start_operation, shouldn't be 'Bevel Maker' but 'Multiple offsets'. -

but 'Multiple offsets'.
Done
And maybe sdmitch must start a thread with [Plugin] for be int the Data base's plugins!
When it will be not a WIP
Yet very cool! -
I wasn't able to solve all the problems but the new posted version is a major improvement over the one posted to this thread. In all but one test cases I devised, the plugin operated as expected. In the one case, the offsets were created in the opposite direction from the selected one. I'm still trying to figure out why.
