The scene consisted of about a million polligons and was rendered with maxwell.

Looks fantastic. Just one observation - with the sun coming from behind, shouldn't the side of the rocks facing us be in shade?

Yeah, I agree. I guess my eyes just got too used to that contrast and I didn't want to lose too much detail.

Amazing work. I couldn't do anything half that beautiful if I worked at it the rest of my life 😒
          Feel sorry for me?

Here is a new version. This was something that I wanted to do in the start but couldn't figure out how to get a realistic result. So how do you like the dew guys?

I also understood how important the lighting is when viewing the image, because at daytime it really looks like the exposure in the first image is OK, but when I look at it at night, it looks over exposed. So I guess I should find a better spot to place my monitor the in front of the window πŸ˜„

Well, to be perfectly honest, if I were to see this photo without knowing what it's supposed to be, I would assume they were flowers instead of dew. Sorry, that's what it looks like to me. Maybe they are too solid, should be more translucent like water. I think getting a realistic dew effect is gonna be tough. Maybe some highlights in each one like a drop of water would look like if sun shined on it.

Your probably right. I checked some more references and it seems the effect I was looking for is visible only in close up shots anyway. But I do think the image looks a bit more interesting now.

Here are some slight changes and a new theme to the image. Giddy up cowboy! πŸ˜„
