Honda CT70 motorcycle
-
Here's something that I've been working on for a LONG TIME, and I think I'm finally finished...
It's a 1970 Honda CT70 mini trail bike. I had one of these when I was young, and sure wish that I had never sold it!
They were produced from 1969 to 1981 and had a wheelbase of about 41 inches and a 4.5 hp engine with a top speed of about 40 mph...these bikes were meant to be used for recreational trail riding.
They had a 3 speed transmission with a centrifugal clutch - all you had to do was back off on the throttle and shift. Since there was no clutch, the left lever was actually a brake lever, which was a bit of a learning curve for someone not used to it (and fun to watch).
The first two images are Kerkythea renders, and the rest are SketchUp.

Unbelievably realistic! One of the best models I've seen on these forums. Details, details, details. I love details in a model.

Just had to add this to the Most Impressive Sketchup Modeling thread.
