M.H.(it's Bruce, right? I seem to remember that from our early days here as moderators), where are you in Ontario? I was actually going to be in Toronto in couple of weeks for a few days, and I was wondering about general climate since I was planning on walking around the city to look at architectural things.

We actually do get snow like that where I live as well, although not with particular regularity...less than two feet is more typical for a storm. Last time we received quite as much snow as you picture they had to call out the Guard to clear trees and downed utility poles from the roads!
