Thai Spirit House

In Thailand, small and some not so small. "Spirit Houses" are found in the yard of a majority of houses and even in some hotels and commercial buildings. The owner leaves food, drink and incense for the spirits that protect the main house. Resembling bird houses, the structures are usually found on poles or columns just low enough for the property owners to leave their offering.
Being in much need of protection from evil forces, I have decided to build my own here in Arizona. I am having a little problem with fitting the first and second roofs and will have to back track a little.
This is also a way of dragging out my three week Bangkok/Pattaya experience in October.
