Last year I bought Vue 8 Complete Bundle which included the exporter SU2Vue (Version 1.1). Because it did not work very well for me, I haven't done anything with Vue this year.

Does anyone know how to get an update to that plugin? I understand it is at Version 2 now, but an option to upgrade is not even listed at the Vue website (only the option to buy the new version).

What is it's free for existing customers and you can simply download it from the customer area once you are logged in?

I can find no place to download it as an upgrade: only as a full buy.

Can you see it here? https://secure.e-onsoftware.com/support/account.php

If not, email e-on support and they'll fix you up.

No: apparently because it was part of the Vue 8 bundle and not a separate purchase.

I've emailed tech support, I've emailed sales and I've re-asked the question on the Forum.

I received one answer which says, "Since you have upgraded to Vue 10, you should request the upgrade to the new version of the SU to Vue exporter (which should be free) to the cornucopia3D sales team."

That hasn't worked either: any more than it did a year ago when I asked how to upgrade from 1.0 to 1.1. 🀒

IMO based on the help I've received: On a scale of 1-to-10 SketchUcation is a 10 and e-on forum is a 1.

Except no-one here can fix your issues just give vague suggestions (now of course I do not mean Marcus' suggestion as "vague" but essentially we cannot really help...)

                  @Gaieus
Just thought that some other SU user might also use Vue and have had the same situation. πŸ˜„

My major render program is Thea, but I thought I'd look into Vue because of the extensive ecosystems and Lumion for its animation and dynamic scenery.

When I had the same issue, I emailed my request to Dave Burdick (dburdick at e-onsoftware dot com), and he sent me the updated plugin. This is less than ideal of course, I wish there was a way to download it automatically from e-on's website.

Hey guys, I have not used Vue for a long while (no project that required it has surfaced) I'm still on SU2Vue version 1 (have not upgraded, or needed to as above reason)
However if I'm correct in thinking that SU2Vue is a 3rd party plugin and not an e-on product, so they will not have it supported/upgradable from your profile page but rather on Cornucopia like all 3rd party content.

Send an email to Dave (friendly chap) and he will have you sorted out quick.

Just to second Bob James, I also have the first version that came bundled, and I have not found a way to update the plugin either. Would be nice to have some working link.

I had also sent requests to Cornucopia to no avail (note the request back in 2010 for version 1.1). It also does not appear on my Cornucopia purchased list or on my e-on purchased list.
