Copyright icons.
-
Hi.
In an attempt to mimic Sketchup icons in a Webdialog, or at least making them look similar. Is there any copyright issues to think of?
I can't see why, but rather safe then sorry...I'm thinking mainly free plugins, but may as well ask for commersial plugins while at the topic.
Sorry if this has been brought up before, could not find similar topic..
Thanks.

There's no charge to use these icons, but we'd prefer that they not be used in another piece of commercial software. They're for SketchUp and SketchUp-related applications
Initialy I was aiming at some of the SU interface items. For ex when you hover and move a border(in layers palette for ex), an edge with 2 direction arrow pops up. That sort of thing. Maybe it's the same deal...

I use some icon and cursor resources for my plugins. But I asked the Google SketchUp team for permission first.

As long as you build a Sketchup-related application, I think it's ok. But, you can ask for permission, as thomthom did. Just in case. -
Asking is probably wise.
I'll see what I'll do later on. It's also not that hard creating new icons

Thanks for the advice, both of you!
