I've recently written a .3ds decoder in Java. I want to avoid exporting to .3ds every time I update a model. Has the file structure been released for .SKP files?

I looked at it a while back, to see if I could work out the building blocks - got some of it, but it was taking too long.They do however have the C++ SDK for reading and writing .skp files. http://code.google.com/apis/sketchup/docs/downloadsdksubmit.html
