Flattening imported linework
-
I have imported an autocad site plan that was drawn 3D in the Z direction. Is there a ruby that will flatten all lines down to 0,0?
Thanks

Flatten at Smustard:
http://www.smustard.com/script/FlattenBut you can also use the drape tool to "project" all the lines onto a 2D face at 0 height.
TIG also has something but I cannot remember:

...or my jsAlign script here: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=323&t=20080&p=166929

The JS Align tool sort of worked, but not fully. Some of the curved lines went very wacky and swooped way up. But, it is better than it was.

I used the drape tool. That worked. Thank you.
