is there a way on installing the Layout ONLY without uninstalling my sketchup? where can i find it? because may layout demo trial is already expired. or is there any other way? please help!

why would you want to install LO without SU? LO works with SU. How does one use LO without SU?
If you already have SU installed just install new version of it and get LO with it. I don't use LO at all, so maybe I am missing the point of your concern.

because a friend told me that Layout is where you can scale your model.i just started using sketchup so i dont know anything yet. haha sorry.

You can print your model to scale and dimension it in native SketchUp (free also). Certainly it is easier and nicer in LayOut but it only comes with the Pro package and you cannot install it separately so if you pro trial has expired, the only way is to use what's available in the free version (or buy pro of course).
