Backyard design

Hi everyone, this is my first post here on the forum.
I'm a landscape designer here in Australia & this is a project where i changed my workflow to do all the concept design in 3D first.
The last image is of the actual site & the first being the 3D design which was created in Sketchup pro 7 & rendered in Vue Infinite 9.
I know i have a lot to learn from you all & appreciate your feedback.Regards from Oz.

Hey, zonecs! Welcome to SketchUcation!
Like a lot the composition! But maybe the white zones are too white and the dark zones too dark, but it is a great render! Congrats!
Can we see the top view?

Thanks for the welcome artysmedia. Yes i do see your point with the white & shadows, it's also a fair bit saturated. I will have to cook up an aerial render, this should work well with all the 3D plants.
Here is another version of the same image. Thanks for your advice much appreciated

Zonecszonecs that first image has good composition just needs a little shadow/highlight adjustments
same thing for the second one you posted. just a little too dark. but i do like that sunlight effect you got on the left side. very nice morning look.

Thanks sketchgeek, all great advice. I should pay more attention to the actual shadow density & overall lighting of the site in the source images for reference i'll try a few more renders with atmosphere adjustments towards ambient lighting of the scene. Thanks again for the help. Zcs
