I am doing some research for a personal project regarding design education. No individuals answers will be shared with anyone. I just need for anyone who is willing to help to tell me how they selected the design school they attended.
What years did you go to school?
What media resources did you use to get information on schools?
Who influenced your school selection?
What role did price and financing play?
Did you ever consider a school outside your home country?
What person or organization played a major role in your choice? Why were they/it a major influence?
If you had it to do all over again, what would you do different?
Did your peer group influence your selection?
What role did technology play in your selection of school?
How has technology changed your profession?
What were your main school selection criteria?I can't promise anyone a vacation on a tropical island with the movie star of their choice for participating. The only thing I can give you is a big thanks and access to any general trends I discover in my research. And after I am done I might disclose my purpose, but doing that now seems like it could skew the answers.
