      Of course we have the iconic "Earthrise" pictures from the moon, but I thought this picture was impressive for the amount of void pictured and needed annotation:

        All that emptiness, yet it isn't "nothing". Life surely exists elsewhere other than solely on our little mote of dust floating in the void, yet the energy expenditure required to seek them out is almost infinite. Fascinating, and lonely...
