Gun Cabinet

Just messing around, thought I would post and get some of the master's opinions.

I'm no master, but image is too grainy. Also, maybe too brightly lit, as the wood grain is washed out.
Other than that, and the fact you didn't model the guns that go in it (what kind of lazy sod are you?), looks good. Kudos - it appears you have the wood grains running in the right directions. -

I'm going to change the lights around and try it again. The guns where not added cause for one I couldn't draw them to look half way right, Two I just thought it looked better to the man I'm doing this for without them. Like I said I'm just messing around but thanks for your input.

There are quite a variety of weapons in the 3D warehouse. They are of varying quality. but some are very well done. And there are a lot of gun photos available from manufacturers that can be projected on model to give quite convincing detail.

Nice work, Kurt. Do you have glass in the doors? You might add some detail on the wall behind and to the right of the camera to add some highlights on the glass. You can see that sort of thing here. I used an image of a painting to create that reflection.

Thanks Dave I might try that once I get a little mote time.
