I am starting my first attempt with Artisan by creating a model of a wheelpant like in the attached photo.
I have been trying to follow the tutorial that Whatt did for the Tron front wheel but I am in over my head at the moment.
Attached is the file showing how far I have gotten.

Nice tut Adam, I got side tracked with a personal project and missed this thread.

This is exactly what I needed to see in order to understand a workflow to do this.
I have a question. How did you get the blue box to show up when you went to the FFD plugin and from what I can see on the screen you have more choices to pick from than I do to get the dots to show.
I don't see how you got them to show up. I have loaded the latest version of FFD I think.Again thanks for the tutorial.

You're welcome. Make sure you group the mesh first to get the FFD box options.
FFD is not a necessary step either. Just an option if you need to tweak a little hear and there.

Finally had some time to get into this and here is what I have come up with.
The tire is too small in width but I can change that.
Any comments and tips would be welcome.Larry
