A great loss, but not a bad innings.
This has got to be one of the most incongruous photos I've ever seen...the Queen, in a bare, starkly lit garret, in her working clothes, wearing a crown.

@ Alan: I've never quite liked that portrait he did of the Queen. It's bold, but it lacks the refinement of his best work. Er, IMHO.
