Would it be possible to add a custom scales field somewhere so you can type the scale you want, rather than having to add / manage them?

Also - is it possible to view the scales list as just ratios (1:4, 1:50) etc instead of in imperial measurements (1":1'), could this be a preference you can turn on or off?

In your preferences, you can define anything you wish as a "Scale text".

            Thanks Gaieus,
Just thought it might be handy if there was a way to type it direct into a field in the View window so you dont have to set it in the prefs. I guess I just need to spend a bit of time getting my LO template sorted out with the most commonly used scales.
            Cheers
