House of the future?

Hi Guys,
I have long been interested in underground houses and have recently come across a design by Make Architects for English footballer, Gary Neville.
The attached pics show (in my mind) how the architect got around some obvious potential problems like a one ton bullock falling through a skylight or into a terrace. The solution is simple and elegant, natural stone walls! The light penetration problem was solved by adopting a tear drop shape, very simple yet very clever.
What are your thoughts on starting a sub forum for interest design, architecture, engineering, product design etc? I am sure many of you may be interested in highlighting designs you find interesting and possibly discussing them.
