Sideboard - Buffet
-
I've tried to update a classic while designing it to fit either modern of transitional decor. Nothing fancy. Just a nice exercise.
I'm not real happy with handles and if anyone has suggestions, I'm listening.
The door panels are frosted translucent glass.

Since you asked, here's one guy's opinion- I think the handles are way too big, and the dimensions all say "factory furniture". I think it's "fine" but just a little bit uninspired. Check out "sideboards" on the Fine Woodworking website to see lots of possibilities, and maybe Lee Valley for some hardware suggestions.
If you don't mind the potential thread hijack, here's one I built awhile back. Feel free to return your opinion.

That's a nice design MK.
Yes, it does look commercial. It's supposed to. I wasn't trying to create something cutting edge, just, as I said, a simple exercise.
I will checkout the suggested hardware. Thanks.

Update with new handles.

First test render with Shaderlight (free version)
Also first stab at a complete scene render. (curtains, picture and vases from 3D Warehouse)
I'll be redoing it. Lots of details and reflections are wrong.
