Table design, rendered Maxwell
-
Hi,This is a table design I made and put in on our web site.
http://web.me.com/fillieverhoeven/architektuur/tafel_3.0.html
Maxwell render and modelled in Sketchup.I am totally taken by the Maxwell plugin that since recently renders realtime in Sketchup. So, I model, make changes and see the rendered preview as I go along.
Times have changed a lot in the past few years.

Great design! Hope it makes it into production.

that is really great.. loving the design and the render. i haven't used maxwell in a few years, but that is sounding like its making great strides.

tx for the compliments.
Maxwell is really very different these days. Its even very reliable. All tx to JDhill who wrote a great, actually superb plugin. You can even render SU typical 2point perspective.
Now that it renders a preview realtime setting up a render is faster than anything I have ever used before.

When you say Maxwell renders a preview is this a scene preview or just in the material pallette ? Great design & render by the way i like the adjustment in one foot to stop the wobble.

Cool Table, and nice website.
You use wood very appropriately.

tx again.
Well, the new plugin for Maxwell actually renders while you model. So, instant previews, not just the material. Very handy for hdri lighting and sunposition, material adjusments and testing for good camera positions. Its a very addictive feature of Maxwell in Sketchup.

Thanks frv great tip i'm hooked. Although it is only using one core in 32 bit mode is this a sketchup problem ? I know google have been a little stubborn implementing 64 bit and multi processors i think these rendering plugins would really benefit from it. If they can fix the shadow bug i'm sure high poly, 64 bit and multi processor are do-able ! Brodie what's your opinion ?

HI. I'm using Maxwell Render and SKP. I'm astonished by its quality. However I can not see my scenes with the HDRI's background, someone can help me?
