    Hey guys,
I have been working on an open source game called Bio-Soldier recently, and have been doing some of the basic modeling in Sketchup. Below are some Kerkythea renders of the 'sentry' a robotic turret. I am looking for feedback, what are your suggestions on how I can improve the model to look more realistic? The model can be downloaded below.

    Thanks a bunch,

      Hello 😄
Your model is perfect, but there is a problem with your textures I think.
your texture is too low resolution.
And you must add bump or normal, specular and reflect layers, and soft shadows.
Finally, I advise you to add a sky and change the ground perhaps.
Use the render 19 in Kerkythea.
      The result will be better.

Hmmmm....I am avoiding using textures that are to high quality because that will in turn sacrifice speed in the game engine. Also, what is "Render 19 in Kerkythea"? Thanks.

        Cheers,

Ah ok, if it's for a game, it's différent.
19 is the preset's number in kerkythea for rendering.
In settings, 19 is the MLT method. But if it's for a game, you don't have to do photorealism.

Eventually.......I need to fix some bugs first, but maybe I'll post a video when I'm done.

                Cheers,
