      Hello Everyone!
I am in dire need of finding a way to model a table coral or Acropora Latistella (scientific name) in SketchUp. I tried modelling simple nurbs and then using the plugin Compo Spray, was able to create those coral tips. Unfortunately, the polygons are high in number so it slowed my work process in SU.
Is there somebody who could help with tips or a simple tutorial on how to accomplish this?
Attached are sample images of the coral.
      Thank you in advance.

      All the best!
      Andy

Maybe Artisan? Not exactly the same, but you might get an idea: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=34872
