To give you an idea how far off I was: They call hinges "butts" in the hardware industry. When you said hinge, I somehow focused on the masonry and it clicked.

Sorry about the desert scape. I meant for it to look like an underwater scene. The terrain is actually from TaffGoch on 3D Warehouse.
