Plugin for correcting texture on smoothened curved surfaces?

Is there a plugin for correcting texture on smoothened curved surfaces?

I imported an Acropora(from Voxelogic) generated model of a rock into SketchUp.
When I applied a texture on this rock model, the distribution of the texture is uneven
so it looks like the texture is pixelated.
Is there a way to correct this with a texture correction plugin?

OK, I see. Texturing organic shapes is not easy in SU as the texture gets appled to the facets in a seemingly disordered way. You can try to use either of these to plugins:

http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?t=23725Try spherical projection with the first - the second one requires some external UV mapping programs. Do it in a separate file as sometimes SU crashes.
