Vanishing Edge Pool (Animation)
-
This is a project designed by a friend, for which I did some modeling, rendering and animation. Modeling is all Sketchup. Stills done in Max/Vray. Animation done in Lumion.

Very nice work Earthmover. I guess my only crit in the whole video is the fact you mixed 3d people with 2d cutout. Am I right in guessing the 2D cutouts are relatives of the client? The 3D guys look like they are picking a fight at one point
Anyway like I said, its excellent work the animation is very smooth. -
Thanks Cadmunkey. Yeah, those animated people that with Lumion are a bit intense. Good advice to not mix 2D with 3D. I'll keep that in mind. The 2D people also come with Lumion, but adding in relatives would be an awesome idea! Thanks again for your comments.

Nice stuff. How did you do the waterfalls in Lumion? Are they water or did you just modify the Glass texture to look like water? Either way Great job.

Horseman,
Thanks. A set of water shaders come with Lumion. I'm wishing that eventually waterfall effects and animated fire will be added also. Supposedly fire is on the horizon.

Nice Work! I can see that Lumion staff still didn't fix the reflection on glass material surfaces hehe. Anyway, still a great piece!

Nice! Could you share your camera/ambient settings?

very impressive earthmover...I agree about the people and some of the camera movements are a bit "jerky" but I still really enjoyed this. Why not render the animation in 3ds max though? Is lumion a lot faster?
