My first attempt at an internal render
-
Hi gang
Ive really only done some exterior renders and thought id try and whip up an internal render for fun.
This is a dream apartment I would love to build one day, an internal pool leading outside on a roof top apartment overlooking a city (this particular city is New York).
I initially tried a HDRI sky background and wanted to place the New York skyline in photoshop, except when i saved the render as PNG, you can still see the HDRI sky behind the glass if that makes sense. SO I had to do a billboard and used a HDRI in the skylight (I used an evening HDRI).This is also the first time ive played with IES lights, so much fun but as you can see, way too bright. Will have to work on that one.
Please let me know what you think and provide some feedback on how to improve....

Something in the foreground to create depth and I can't quite read the glass panel, does it drop into the pool or what?

Hi Roger
Yes they are 2 glass door panels on either side. They are single face glass panels. They were initially double sided panels however the glass didnt look as nice (am using the default glass material from asgvis - vray setting). Any suggestions on this?
I agree, I couldnt think of an item to put in the foreground, any suggestions?

Suggestions =
Glass:
Put a person on the other side of the glass. Half of her in the open area and half behind the glass. Maybe also a little bobling action where the glass meets the water.Foreground:
Plant, throw rug, sculpture, sitting bench. Something to add a softer counterpoint to the hard floor and crisp glass. -
That's... that's a bathroom?
Wow!
Yeah, I also think a rug would be nice.
