Sketchup + Lumion 3d = awsome

I like it...
This illustrates a project very well...
I can easily see some still renders of interior apartments would compliment the video...
I need to take a closer look at this Lumion application...
It's about having the right tools for the various assignment you take... -
excellent!
-
Very nice indeed!

ps
Does it possible with the demo version to add your own buildings? -
Yes.

All of this was made in the Demo version, so you could say this is a demo for the demo version They offer it with alomost full functionallity, but with a very limited model library and no save option.
I mede all the scene in about 5 hours with the camera movement tweaking and encountered some kind of bug, after what I had to do it all over againPilou, yes you can. Simply use the collada or 3ds export and your good to go. I went mad importing all my old sketchup scenes and a lot of 3dwh models and watching how good they look now Only thing that can restrict you in Lumion is your graphics card as the program is very RAM efficient. From some tests I'v seen it can nicely handle even a 19 mil poly model. I rendered my scene at 1920x1080 at an average of 1 frame per second whit an AO filter and some AA. But I think that for presentational needs you can just make it realtime and record it with fraps or somthing, because it looks fantastic anyway and I guess would be real eye-candy for the clients

Good to see a student interested in going beyond the requirements.
And Lumion indeed looks sweeter and sweeter... Gotta get a new GPU first. -
indeed Lumion is good for quick visualisation. have potential to become a competitive software.
