I don't know if the Corner Bar is the best place for this kind of post but I don't know where else to put it.
Anyway, I wanted to create this thread because of this blog http://historo.wordpress.com/ that contains pictures and information on Romanian architecture and because I know there are quite a few architects around here who might appreciate, be inspired or could use this kind of things.A fex examples from the blog
Though that blog is specifically about architectural elements found in Romania, I didn't want to name the thread for it because I think it would be interesting and indeed useful if people would post pictures and information about interesting architectural elements found in their country/region/city/village.
