Import a big surface

Hi! I have to work on a big surface ( 20km radius ) for an urban project.
How can i do for import google earth surface on sketchup? -

You obviously cannot import such a big terrain into SU in one (SU will not allow). You can import pices and stitch them together in SU. There is another topic dealing with the method here:
http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=32325If you use SU 7 (as your profile says), it is a bit harder and will be less precise than from SU 8 but not impossible; just make sure to only pan in GE, do not orbit or zoom in/out. Still I would recommend SU 8 for this (you will see the reason in that topic).
